The telescopic steel structure of 25 meters of light is divided into 3 sections of 33 meters each and covers the largest dry dock in the Mediterranean. The fabric, type III, rests on the steel structure and tensioned at the base. The pre-tension of the sheet has been calculated not to slam even at winds with a speed of 30 m / s.
The retractable covering of 25 m span and 105 m length covers the bigger dry-dock of the Mediterranean sea and it is located in Genoa’s harbor. The structure is divided into 3 segments of 35 m each which can slide over rollers according to the needs.
