Info: 250 sqm ETFE single layer 300 micron
The ETFE and wood combination is the marriage of the elegance and warmth of the glulam structure and the lightness and modernity of the fluoro-plastic ETFE film. The roof rests on a series of glulam half-arches and reaches down to the ground so as to shelter the goods storage area from water and wind. The single layer of 300-micron ETFE is tensioned by a series of tensioners iconnected to an edge profile that doubles as a water drain. Laterally and at the top, the film is threaded inside calendered aluminum carrier profiles screwed to the underlying wooden structure via anti-condensation spacers. From the inside, the structure appears to be so transparent that it does not appear to be closed. From the outside, however, the reflection of sunlight enhances the milky appearance of the ETFE film.
